Until now, loyalty points were typically awarded for visits. But we wanted to give you a tool that directly ties your loyalty program to your revenue. With our new Spending feature, you can now reward customers based on how much they spend, not just how often they visit.
What is Spending Based Loyalty?
It's simple! Instead of giving a customer a fixed number of points for a checkin, you can now award them points for every dollar, euro, or rupee they spend.
This model creates a powerful incentive for customers to increase their purchase size and ensures that your most valuable, highest spending customers receive the greatest rewards.
How It Works: Seamlessly Integrated
We've built this feature directly into the QR Code Scanner you already use. The process for your staff is intuitive and fast:
- Scan the Customer's QR Code: Use the scanner in your dashboard as you normally would.
- Enter the Purchase Amount: After the customer is verified, a new screen with a dial pad will appear. Simply type in the customer's total bill.
- Confirm & Award: Hit the confirm button. Points are instantly calculated based on your program's rules and added to the customer's account.
That’s it! No new hardware, no complex training. It's a seamless addition to your existing workflow.

How to Get Started
Ready to activate this powerful new feature?
If your loyalty program is already configured for a spending based model, the scanner will automatically prompt for the purchase amount after a successful scan.
To change your program type, navigate to your Dashboard > Loyalty Program > Settings and select "Spending" as your program type. The change takes effect immediately!
